Queen of Hearts

Andrew found this fantastic deck of playing cards in a car boot sale in a field in Norfolk. It was one of those finds that made the whole trip worthwhile. Every card shows a 1950s pin-up girl in a different pose and slightly revealing outfit. Illustrated by renowned Swiss artist, Heinz Villiger, this set is not as saucy as some!

 

The images here show most of the deck - but another batch sit on a bright pink paper in a frame on our bedroom wall. We have a total of 50 cards but the jokers are missing!
